Trent River:
Flowing south towards the Bay of Quinte, the Trent River passes the town of Frankford. The thin line of trees on the east side of the river marks the Trent-Severn Waterway, which stretches 386 kilometres from the Bay of Quinte to Georgian Bay. A lock is visible in the middle foreground. In the distance lies Trenton, the Bay of Quinte and Lake Ontario. The Trent, the longest river in Southern Ontario, is 302 kilometres long and drains 12,400 square kilometres. Darko Zeljkovic photo
